Bias Cloth Buff
Our buffs are 12~16mm in thickness. 16-plies (sheets) of cloth are fixed with a clinch ring in center infolding in order to have plenty of pleats of bias-cut cloth. The more the pleats, the harder the buff becomes. Our Bias Cloth Buffs are classified into 5 stages as M-0, 2, 4, 6, 8 by their softness. As a guidance of polishing process, M-4~8 are used for cutting / cut & coloring and M-0~2 for coloring. Our Bias Cloth Buffs, with many characteristics listed below, are suitable for wide range of buffing with manual or with automatic polishing machine from cutting to coloring.
1) Long life because of Bias cloth.
2) The air going through from the center to the peripheral part produces the cooling effect.
3) Since the buff surface area is larger in our pleated bias cloth buffs, it shows better preservation of polishing compounds.
4) Both M-cloth and C-cloth are available.

Open Face Bias Cloth Buff
Open Face Bias Cloth Buff is a buff fixed with clinch ring in center infolding in bias-cut cloth. It is softer in contact with bias cloth buff and can be used for coloring of all kinds of materials especially for coloring both non-ferrous metal and synthetic resin. According to the condition of pleats, No.1 buff is with fewer number of pleats and No.2 buff is with more number of pleats.
For coloring, No.2C buff using C-cloth is standard.
*Thickness : approx. 18mm
*Use with special flange (Sold separately)

Unit Bias Cloth Buff(Z-Type)
Unit Bias Cloth Buff (Z-type): Units are not machine-sewn, fixed radially. As a feature, soft contact with workpiece and hard to generate section line. Most suitable for coloring of synthetic resins and painted surfaces. Uniform polishing surface can be obtained especially when wide cassette buff. CZ (C-cloth) and AZ (A-cloth) are general.

Hardness : CZ is harder than AZ
*Thickness : approx. 16 ~ 18mm
*Use with special flange (Sold separately)

Pleated Bias Cloth Buff
The Pleated Bias Cloth Buff is a buff fixed with clinch ring in center forming regular pleats using bias-cut cloth. As pleated buff, peripheral surface of buff contacts with workpiece flatly with getting less roundness of workpiece corner and less grinding chips adherence. As a result, it is suitable for intermediate finishing of non-ferrous metal. 4 plies with M-cloth is standard.
*Thickness : approx. 12 ~ 15mm
*Use with special flange (Sold separately)

Loose Cloth Buff
Die-cut round cloth sheets are stitched at the center part. Standard product is with 20 plies (cloth sheets) of M-type cloth or C-type cloth (see below for characteristics of each cloth type). This structure is the most standard of buffs, and it is used for coloring of various metals and plastics.

Type : M-type Using a hard cloth (M-type cloth) with higher density of threads.
C-type Using soft cotton cloth (C-type cloth).

Hardness : M > C
*Thickness : approx. 5 ~ 6mm (20 plies)

Spiral Sewed Cloth Buff
Die-cut round cloth sheets are spirally stitched from the center to the outer edge. Standard product is with 20 plies (sheets) of M-type cloth, and stitched at 6mm intervals. This type of buff is very rigid, and used for middle finishing or polishing narrow part. Its hardness can be controlled by changing intervals of stitches to adjust the level of conformity in polishing or desired finishing level. To make the buff harder, we also have 3mm-interval stitches.
*Thickness : approx. 5 ~ 6mm (20 plies)
